The Asset and Liability Management solution was created by BB&D with the core purpose of performing daily cash management and periodic balance sheet management, budget and strategy modelling.
Rates and rate curves are are used by all the system modules. Time buckets can be defined separately for cash management and strategy modelling purposes. Other system features include:

The solution can easily be integrated into other systems with simple data transfer in both CSV and XML formats.

Reporting
Microsoft Reporting Services is utilized as the report writer, allowing for easy customization of the standard report set and the addition of client specific reports. The standard report set includes various financial, risk, variance and cash flow reports.
Configurable
The organizational hierarchy builder allows for each organization to customize their own individual structure onto the system. The chart of accounts can be configured for each organization to match the structure of the organization's financial system. The chart of accounts can be defined in as many levels of detail as required. The solution does not limit the number of sub levels. Trading accounts are accommodated on trade level if required.
Security
The security model allows users to be linked to groups, defining the functional access for each user.
Users are linked to a business unit, a department within a business unit or to multiple business units within the organizational hierarchy and to specific categories within the associated charts of accounts.
